Using HALOKROS

Terms of Use

Rules for using the website and contributing listener reflections.

1. Operator and acceptance

The HALOKROS website is operated by Gediminas Tamošaitis, Aido g. 9-27, LT-78292 Šiauliai, Lithuania. Contact: halo@halokros.com.

By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you submit a form, you also agree to the notices shown next to that form.

2. Nature of the project

HALOKROS is a music and creative project. Song descriptions, meanings, symbols and listener questions are interpretive material. They are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or other professional advice and do not replace qualified help.

3. Website content

Unless stated otherwise, HALOKROS branding, original website text, design and project materials are protected by applicable intellectual property law. Music-platform names, trademarks and linked third-party materials belong to their respective owners.

You may view and share links to public pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy substantial website content, remove attribution, impersonate HALOKROS, interfere with the website or use automated means in a way that harms the service.

4. External services

The website links to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Deezer and other external services. HALOKROS does not control their availability, content, subscriptions or data practices. Their own terms and policies apply after you follow an external link.

5. Listener reflections

The listener-reflection feature is intended for people aged 16 or older. By submitting a reflection, you confirm that:

  • the text is your own and you have the right to submit it;
  • it does not contain names, contact details or information that identifies another person;
  • it is not unlawful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, misleading, promotional or technically harmful;
  • you understand that the raw text may be stored temporarily, grouped with four other reflections and used to prepare anonymous, aggregated song insights.

You grant HALOKROS a limited, non-exclusive and royalty-free permission to store, review, correct spelling, remove identifying details, analyse and summarise the reflection for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy. This permission ends when consent is withdrawn using the deletion code, except for information that has already been irreversibly anonymised.

6. Aggregated insights

An individual reflection is not published as a quotation. HALOKROS may combine themes from multiple submissions and publish a general, anonymised insight about a song after human review.

HALOKROS does not promise that any reflection will contribute to a published insight. Content may be rejected, shortened or removed to protect privacy, safety, quality and relevance.

7. Availability and responsibility

HALOKROS aims to keep information accurate and the website available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content or permanent availability of a page or external link. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Changes and applicable law

These terms may be updated when the website or its features change. The current version and date will be published here. Lithuanian law applies, without limiting mandatory consumer or data-protection rights that apply to you.
